A Legacy of Original Design
Mary Elliott Interiors celebrates the movement toward authenticity that is at the heart of so many seeking a “less is more” lifestyle. The interior style of a home is not just a matter of taste. It’s a reflection of who you are as a person and how you choose to live. Mary’s interior design aesthetic is grounded in her study of classical art, architecture and languages at the University of Perugia, Italy, following graduation from American University in Washington, D.C. and the New York School of Interior Design. Over forty years of experience enables Mary to direct a project from concept to installation, assembling a team or collaborating with a client’s architects and contractors to deliver something unique and exceptional.
With homes in New York City and Stonington, CT., Mary has served a long list of residential city and seaside clients, as well as corporate clients including The Hearst Corporation, Bristol Meyers and real estate developers Mednick/Raynes, Realty Company, Omniform, Douglas & Ives Realty and Kawaski Teiteko Company who hired her to create an 18th century English interior in a modern Tokyo office building.
